On Monday, the German national football team will take the field at the Weser Stadium in Bremen for a significant milestone - their 1000th international match. The opposition will be Ukraine, a country currently under attack by Russia.

In preparation for the match, Flick has announced that the team will be deploying a 3-4-3 formation, with Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp set to play a key role. However, the team will be missing several key players. Timo Werner, Ilkay Gündogan, and Robin Gosens will not play due to their current status. Werner is still recovering, while Gündogan and Gosens will join the team on Wednesday.

Niclas Füllkrug, the striker for Werder Bremen, has been guaranteed a starting spot in his home stadium. The match proceeds will be donated to Ukraine.

To commemorate the 1000th match, the German Football Association (DFB) will auction off special jerseys used in the match. These jerseys will feature historical moments from the German national team's rich heritage, including designs from the 1986 World Cup.

Fans can expect a special atmosphere at the Weser Stadium as the team celebrates this significant milestone. The match against Ukraine promises to be an unforgettable occasion, both on and off the pitch.
