Calling all Berliners and Brandenburg residents! Your week isn't shaping up to be a dry one. The German Weather Service predicts thunderstorms and even some strong bursts, with a chance of hail and gusty winds, starting from Monday afternoon in the region. Some areas might see rain mixed with tiny hailstones, and wind gusts that'll make you squint your eyes.
The sky will be mostly cloudy throughout the day, but by the afternoon, the first showers kick off. Expect daytime temperatures to soar to a pleasant 21-24°C (68-75°F). On the other end of the day, the thunder dissipates quickly, and the sky clears up somewhat, dropping temperatures to a refreshing 11-7°C (52-45°F).
Tuesday offers a chance to venture out, as the region remains dry. The mercury rises to a balmy 23-25°C (74-77°F). By the night, Tuesday becomes Wednesday, with temperatures falling down to 14-11°C (57-52°F).
By Wednesday, the heat is turned up. Temperatures could reach 24-27°C (76-81°F). Clouds dominate the sky, and sporadic showers are possible, with the occasional thunderstorm.
It appears we need to brace ourselves for a week of wet and wild weather. Don't forget your umbrellas and raincoats!
The Commission might want to postpone their discussions on the draft directive on the protection of workers, as the forecast indicates a series of thunderstorms this week. Additionally, weather-forecasting agencies predict that the thunderstorms on Monday could potentially include hail showers, making for an eventful and stormy start to the work week.
