In the heart of Munich, a transformative development is underway on Moosacher Street. The new quarter, slated for completion by 2031, aims to be a diverse and sustainable hub where everyone can unfold.

The development includes a mix of residential, commercial, and community spaces. Among the residential buildings, 620 apartments are planned to accommodate a variety of residents. Business buildings are also part of the project, providing opportunities for local businesses to thrive.

To add a touch of fun and culture to the area, the "Das Anders" project, backed by Opes Immobilien and the Heinz Hermann Thiele Family Foundation, has been approved by the city council. The project includes the "Lucky Star", an interim use for the Knorr-Bremse area, which has been vacant for some time. The "Lucky Star" is scheduled to be operational until 2027 and will offer a blend of fun, relaxation, sports, and culture.

From August 11 to September 11, the "Happy Family Village" will be a highlight of the "Lucky Star" project. This temporary attraction will feature a huge bouncy castle park for children, as well as a food truck festival for gourmets. Some offerings will be free, while others will be paid, ensuring there's something for everyone.

The "Lucky Star" will also have space for special events, providing a platform for the community to come together and celebrate. It will offer courts for various sports, including paddle, pickleball, football, basketball, beach volleyball, and table tennis.

A nursing home and daycare centres are also part of the development, ensuring that the community remains inclusive and catering to all age groups.

The main building in the Hirmer real estate is planned to remain for the next 110 years, serving as a testament to the long-term vision of the development. Additionally, an 88-meter high hotel and office tower is planned, adding a modern touch to the area.

This new city quarter on Moosacher Street is set to become a vibrant and welcoming space for the people of Munich and visitors alike. With its diverse offerings and commitment to sustainability, it promises to be a significant addition to the city's urban landscape.

The "Lucky Star" project in the developing quarter of Moosacher Street will not only offer a food truck festival and a bouncy castle park for entertainment, but also courts for various sports such as paddle, pickleball, football, basketball, beach volleyball, and table tennis, catering to both fun and sports enthusiasts.

In addition to residential and commercial spaces, the new city quarter on Moosacher Street will also include sports facilities, a nursing home, and daycare centers, ensuring an inclusive community that caters to all age groups.
