Inter Milan Stuns Bayern Munich 2-1 in Champions League Thriller

Inter Milan secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League. The match saw a late comeback from Bayern, but Inter held on to claim the win.

Bayern Munich started strongly, dominating the first half-hour and creating several scoring opportunities. However, they were unable to convert their chances into goals. Inter Milan, on the other hand, scored the leading goal after a beautiful team play involving Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez.

Inter's Davide Frattesi then scored the winning goal in a swift counterattack, securing their victory. Earlier, Carlos Augusto had scored the second goal for Inter in a Serie A match against Sassuolo. Bayern Munich fought back and scored an emotional equalizer through Thomas Müller, but Inter responded immediately to lead 2:1.

Thomas Müller's performance raised hopes for a starting lineup spot, despite his impending departure. However, Bayern's defence, with Laimer playing on the right, struggled to keep Inter at bay. Harry Kane missed a scoring chance for Bayern, hitting the outer post. Raphael Guerreiro started in place of the injured Jamal Musiala.

Inter Milan's victory over Bayern Munich leaves the Bavarians facing a challenging return match. Despite a strong start and an emotional equalizer, Bayern's defence faltered, allowing Inter to secure a 2-1 win. Thomas Müller's performance may influence future lineup decisions, but Bayern must now focus on their return match to keep their Champions League hopes alive.
