With clearance tools, they removed remaining branches and smaller trees, freeing the road for traffic. The road was briefly closed in the direction of Heidelsheim during the cleanup.

Similar havoc unfolded in Pforzheim and the surrounding Enz district. As the police reported Sunday morning, branches and trees dropped repeatedly onto the roads, and construction signs were blown off.
A pavilion was toppled from a rooftop terrace, but the police managed to save the tent.
No injuries were reported. Police headquarters in Pforzheim tallied approximately 20 incidents, with most happening in the Enz district.
