🤔 Storm Damage Cleanup underway in Ust-Kulom and Priluzsky Districts 🌪️

On June 2, these parts of the Komi Republic in Russia had quite the storm, with gusts strong enough to fell trees and disrupt power supplies in a few settlements, part of the so-called "Ust-Nemsky cluster" in Ust-Kulomsky district.

District head, Sergei Ruban, shares that the strong winds and thunderstorms caused quite the disruption. Trees were knocked down, blocking the road between Myeldino and Timshyer. Thanks to some quick work from the district's contractor, those trees were cleared by midnight. Electricians from RΕS YUЭS then stepped in and managed to restore power to some of the affected settlements by 2 am. Timshyer and Lop'yuvad were the lucky recipients, while Myeldino and Karman-Sikt followed suit at 6:30 am. However, it's possible that other damage, like structural damage to buildings or roads, may have occurred, so keep your eyes out for any such incidents.
