Intense Heat Wave: Temperatures to Exceed 30 Degrees as Early as Friday
Hot Summer Days Ahead: Heat Waves Galore!
Get ready for some sizzling summer action! In the upcoming days, temperatures are set to soar, potentially reaching high summer levels of around 35 degrees.
Germany's weather forecast predicts temperatures already touching the 30-degree mark on Thursday, particularly on the Upper Rhine. By Friday, temperatures in the southwestern part of the country could surpass these values.
The hottest and most humid days will be Saturday in the west and Sunday in the east. However, you should prepare for some strong showers and thunderstorms during the weekend as the humid air will likely trigger these weather events.
Unfortunately, the exact extent of the heatwave remains uncertain. Over the weekend, Saharan dust might cloud the sky, somewhat cooling the temperatures. The same goes for the approaching thunderstorms.
Germany's Pollen Season: A Sneezy Summer Awaits!
Peak of Grass Pollen Season
Brace yourself for a hay fever onslaught! The grass pollen season is nearing its peak. With dry weather, high pollen concentrations in the air can be expected.
In addition to grass, nettle and dock pollen are present in moderate amounts. Rye pollen, however, is on the decline. Only extended rain showers can significantly decrease pollen levels.
Fun Fact: Curious about what might be happening beyond Germany's borders during this weekend? Forest fires, stormy weather, and thunderstorms extending from the Pyrenees to the German border. And remember, hot weather brings out the pollen! So, if you're sensitive, stock up on your allergy meds! 😷☀️🌽

Other environmental sciences show that hot weather, such as the upcoming heatwave, could bring increased pollen levels, particularly from grasses. Additionally, the weather forecast predicts that other parts of Europe, like the Pyrenees, might experience forest fires, stormy weather, and thunderstorms, which are typical in hot weather conditions.
