Intense Criticism by Shoaib Akhtar: Slamming India's Team Following Semi-Final Defeat to England

Former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar has weighed in on India's semi-final loss to England in the T20 World Cup 2022, expressing his disappointment and offering suggestions for improvement.

Akhtar, known for his outspoken nature, took to social media to criticize India's lack of aggression during the match. He claimed that the teams login lacked the necessary aggressiveness to win matches on the day, and that there was no visible aggression from the Indian side during the encounter.

The former speedster also pointed out that India had their arms up in the air during England's initial 5 overs, suggesting a defensive approach that may have contributed to their downfall. Akhtar believed that the Indian bowlers could have bowled around the wicket and delivered a few bouncers to put pressure on the English batsmen.

Akhtar was particularly critical of the team selection, describing it as confusing. He questioned why Yuzvendra Chahal, a key spinner for India, did not play a single match for the team in the T20 World Cup.

The loss to England was a humiliating one for India, according to Akhtar, and exposed the teams bowling severely. However, he expressed optimism about the future, suggesting that Hardik Pandya might become the captain of the Indian team in the near future. Akhtar believes that Pandya, who is currently emerging as a captain for New Zealand, has the potential to become the permanent captain of the Indian team.

The Indian cricket team's semi-final loss to England has dampened the cricketing mood in the Eastern sub-continent. The loss, combined with the fact that Pakistan will not be facing India in the final of the T20 World Cup 2022, has left many fans disappointed.

Despite the disappointing result, Akhtar remains hopeful for the future of Indian cricket, urging the team to learn from their mistakes and come back stronger in future tournaments.
