Manila, PH - Roger Pogoy set the PhilSports Arena ablaze in the first half, racking up 32 points, and propelling TNT to a crushing 117-93 victory over NorthPort in their PBA Commissioner's Cup match on October 8.
Pogoy's scorching hot performance kept the Tropang Giga afloat after a painfully narrow 94-92 defeat against Magnolia just three days prior. His scintillating display consisted of 100% shooting accuracy and 6 three-pointers through the first half, sharing the record for most field goals without a miss in a half.
With a mighty 58-44 halftime lead, Pogoy cooled off in the second half, but the game was already out of NorthPort's reach. Even without scoring in the final period, TNT stood steadfast against the Batang Pier's charge.
