Institute Gil-Albert eagerly anticipates the autumn season with a diverse lineup featuring Nach, Alice Wonder, and Pepe Viyuela.
The Institute Alicantino de Cultura Juan Gil-Albert de Alicante has revealed an extensive cultural calender for the remainder of 2022, featuring a diverse array of activities across various municipalities in the province.
The calender includes around 80 activities, catering to a wide range of interests. Some of these activities will take place in different municipalities, including Alicante, Elche, Benidorm, Torrevieja, and Alcoy.
Literary, Artistic, and Musical Highlights
Leading figures from the literary, artistic, and musical scene of the country are scheduled to visit Alicante. Notable authors such as Jordi Sierra i Fabra, Juan Jose Millas, and Sergio del Molino will be gracing the city with their presence.
In addition, Pepe Viyuela will discuss 'The Lost Rogue' at Casa Bardin as part of the International Classic Theatre Festival in Alicante. Alice Wonder and Nach are scheduled for the new cycle 'Tell and sing'.
Special Events and Tributes
A tribute to the late artist Xavier Soler on the thirtieth anniversary of his death will close the month's program. The cycle 'With all the letters' will bring distinguished authors to Alicante, while Rafael Argullol, Diego Sánchez Meca, and Francisco Jarauta will speak as part of the commemoration of Thomas Mann's 125th anniversary.
Workshops, Exhibitions, and More
Urban art meetings, graffiti artists, an artistic workshop with Isidro López-Aparicio, and exhibitions framed in 'Art in the Casa Bardin' are also programmed. Javier Gironella and the Muixeranga Valls del Vinalopó will visit the Castalla Auditorium in Petrer.
A tour of the Jardín de Penáguila and visits to the Carmencita Factory, Tossal de Manises, and Castle of Castalla are also scheduled. Other cycles such as 'Muixerangas', 'This is another story', 'Tastant territory', 'ADN Fester', and 'Km Cultural' will be held in different locations throughout the province.
Traditional Games and Documentaries
The 'Jocs space' cycle aims to recover traditional games and will continue in October in Murla. The cycle 'Fotohistoria' will begin on September 30, recovering sagas of historical photographers with the documentary fund of René Bardin.
