Plus, Western and Ukrainian officials are skeptical about Putin's proposal, claimin' the Russian offensives ain't sittin' still and civilians are still bein' targeted with drones.

Oh, and there's this little diplomatic standoff goin' on. The US and Russia had a chat, but it didn't lead to much, and Western leaders are worryin' that the US might disengage if Trump gets another term, leavin' 'em with not enough leverage at the negotiation table.
