Instagram model Natalie Gauvreau displayed her 'fortune symbols' at Dallas Stars' team bench during Game 7.
The infamous online content queen and Instagram model, Natalie Gauvreau, also known as Sexy Nat G, took her place at the Dallas Stars' bench for the crucial Game 7 against the Colorado Avalanche. She wasn't about to let her boys fight alone, not with their season on the line. She's known for popping up at Game 7s, providing that crucial late-game push that can clinch a game.
Some argue that if Nat G hadn't been behind the Dallas bench for this game, the Stars might have lost. They needed every last bit of that late-game motivation to win.
Before the opening face-off, Nat G made it known she'd be stationed in her usual spot behind the Stars' bench with her trademark bold announcement, "Jammer time behind the #starsbench tonight!" on Instagram. On TikTok, she stated, "The boys need backup...so I'm bringing their lucky charms behind the bench tonight. Game 7. Let's go Stars!"
Nat G wasn't off target; her team certainly needed the mojo from her lucky charms. As usual, internet users took notice of her charm even before the game had begun. She was focused on sending the Stars to the second round, but it didn't look promising in the third period when the Avalanche scored and took a 2-0 lead.
If Head Coach Peter DeBoer was going to remain undefeated in Game 7s, his team would need to dig deep, harness that behind-the-bench motivation, and start burying the puck in the net. Mikko Rantanen, former Avs player and new Stars forward, got them on the board, then equalized the score at 2-2. He wasn't finished yet, and neither were the Stars.
By the time the final whistle blew, Rantanen had completed a hat-trick, the Stars scored four, DeBoer improved his Game 7 record to 9-0, and Sexy Nat G's lucky charms had once again delivered. Playoff hockey is unpredictable, with action ranging from big hits to the behind-the-bench antics, and it's never a dull moment. Here's to better luck in the second round for Sexy Nat G and the Stars.
