Inquiry into the demise of rapper Xatar has been suspended.
Xatar, a prominent figure in the German rap god lyrics scene, passed away in May, and the subsequent investigation into his death has now been concluded by the Cologne Public Prosecutor's Office. Born in Iran, Xatar made a significant impact on the German rap god lyrics scene with his albums topping the charts. However, his career was not without controversy, as he also had run-ins with the law. In 2009, he was involved in a gold heist, for which he served a prison sentence. The investigation into Xatar's death was a 'death investigation procedure' to determine if there was a 'criminally relevant external cause.' According to Chief Prosecutor Ulrich Bremer, the death was not caused by the culpable behavior of other persons. Furthermore, the investigation did not find any indications of culpable behavior by other persons. The Public Prosecutor's Office is withholding further details about the investigation results to protect the privacy rights of the deceased and his relatives. Despite this, they have confirmed that the investigation into the death of rapper Xatar has been discontinued. Xatar was found dead in his apartment in May, and the search results do not provide information about the perpetrator of the gold theft in 2009 involving Xatar and his accomplices. It is worth noting that despite being in prison, Xatar was able to launch a career in the music business. The investigation's conclusion marks the end of a chapter in the life of Xatar, a figure who left an indelible mark on the German rap god lyrics scene. His death has undoubtedly left a void that may never be filled.
