Inquiries Concerning the Authorized 'Fantastic Four' Pizza Event
Diving into the culinary realm alongside Marvel Studios' upcoming blockbuster, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, it's time to sink our teeth into some exciting snack collaborations!
Out of the park, AMC Theaters have unveiled a pizza that's as incredible as their Herbie popcorn robot. This Four-Quadrant pizza, releasing at Little Caesars, brings together four distinct toppings - each believed to be an ode to a Fantastic Four hero. Pepperoni and jalapeno will inevitably summon Johnny Storm's flaming persona, while Italian sausage and bacon offer a rocky texture reminiscent of the Thing.
Funnily enough, the mysteries of pizza toppings lead us to ponder the heroes' identities: the cheese could pass for Sue, since it's transparent, like her powers, and Reed is represented by the pepperoni, which, much like Reed, stretches out all over the pizza. Who knows, maybe with a little imagination, we can make it work!
Baffling as it may seem, this pizza pie puzzle is almost as amusingly bonkers as Fantastic Four's legendary blue milk. TruMoo, known for launching Star Wars' May the Fourth branded blue milk, is now selling blue "Fantastic Berry" flavored half-gallons for families and fanciful adults. As much as I appreciate Pedro Pascal's milk-pouring skills, vanilla blue milk is still my preference, so I'll pass. Each half-gallon pack boasts a different character from the team. Cereal, you ask?
Reviving nostalgia, General Mills has rolled out retro-style cereal boxes at your local grocery store. These limited-edition releases aren't overly matched to their characters' elements but feature stunning throwback art. The cereal boxes, despite being relatively tame compared to other tie-ins, still tickle our fancy.
Pop-Tarts, ever the wild card, is bringing back the cherished Frosted Blue Raspberry flavor after a six-year absence, exclusive to Walmart. This limited-edition release sports eight distinct designs inspired by the Fantastic Four team. The cherry on top? A zany ad featuring wacky Pop-Tart mascots turned substitute superheroes, "The FanTASTEic Four" who, let's just say, won't be saving us from Galactus anytime soon.
Diving deeper into the food sphere, Snapple has launched flavored drink products themed after the Fantastic Four. Mister Fantastic gets the apple flavor, the Thing gets kiwi-strawberry, and the Storms share the peach tea juice. We'll leave you with a sneak peek at Sue Storm's elegantly designed bottle.
