Inquires from the Princess

Prepare for an extraordinary theatrical experience this weekend as the newly formed young collective, Theater BERG:KOSMOS25, presents their first self-written production, "Who Am I?" The play, written and staged by the youth group "Freie Bühne München", promises to be a bold, smart, funny, and thought-provoking modern fantasy tale.

At the heart of the story is a princess who doesn't want a fairy tale. In the opening act, we see the charismatic protagonist, Erik*a, storming out of the parental castle and venturing into the woods. The play deals with themes of identity, self-discovery, bullying, and loss, all topics often overlooked by adults, according to the ensemble leader.

The play features a cast of twelve young actors aged between 12 and 18, each contributing to the creation of a unique and captivating narrative. The audience is encouraged to think for themselves and find the answers to the questions posed in the play.

Directed by Mandy Kieroth, "Who Am I?" is a thought-provoking journey that culminates in a happy ending, but the path to it remains undisclosed. The play premieres this Saturday, 20th September, at 6 PM, and continues the following day, Sunday, 21st September, also at 6 PM.

Tickets for the premiere are available online and can be reserved at [email protected] or by phone at 02202 / 92765015. Admission is 16 Euro, with reduced tickets available for 10 Euro.

The performance takes place at THEAS Theater School and Theater e.V., located at Jakobstraße 103, 51465 Bergisch Gladbach. For more information about the theater and upcoming events, visit www.theas.de.
