In a test match played on a warm Sunday afternoon, the SV Spellenerinnen faced off against SV Heißen II. The match ended with a score of 4:2 in favour of SW Essen, despite SV Spellenerinnen maintaining a 2:0 lead for 65 minutes.

The first goal of the match was scored by Maike Stutz from a direct free kick for SV Spellenerinnen in the 16th minute. The second goal for the home team was a one-on-one situation against the Essen goalkeeper, scored by Sophie Dungs in the 36th minute, with Sina Häusler providing the assist.

However, the second half of the game saw a different story. Eileen Hillmann scored the 1:2 goal for SW Essen in the 65th minute, followed by an own goal by a Spellener player in the 80th minute. The last goal of the match was scored by Eileen Hillmann in added time (90+1), sealing the victory for ETB Schwarz-Weiß Essen.

Coach Jens Hauviller praised the team's build-up play leading to the second goal, starting with Michelle Peters in goal, but expressed disappointment at the team's performance after the break. He believes that the team let up due to many changes, adjustments, and the weather conditions.

Despite the loss, Coach Hauviller is satisfied with the team's performance, describing it as a good conditioning unit. The next test match, another conditioning unit for coach Hauviller, will take place next Sunday against SV Heißen II, with no goalkeeper for the Spellener team.

It is worth noting that in a test match scenario without a specialized goalkeeper, an outfield player must fulfill all goalkeeper duties and follow the usual goalkeeper rules, such as handling inside the penalty area, distinct kit colors, and abiding by the eight-second ball release rule when applicable.

Despite the loss, the SV Spellenerinnen showed promising signs in the midfield, indicating a potential for improvement in the upcoming match against SV Heißen II.
