Recently, Johannes made the leap from his hometown club, ESV Kaufbeuren, in the DEL2. In his inaugural season with ERC, he shone brightly over 61 games, tallying an impressive nine points, with four goals to boot. He also made his mark with Ravensburg Towerstars, ERC's partner club and the runners-up in the DEL2.
