Expelling Troublemakers: Germany Deports Criminals to Afghanistan
In the dead of night, Germany kicks out 28 miscreants to Afghanistan. This is their first deployment to the war-torn country since the Taliban takeover in 2021. But who exactly are these scoundrels, and what naughty acts did they perform? The men were found guilty of heinous acts like sexual assault, severe physical harm, attempted murder, and drug violations. Here's what we know:
Hesse sent six lowlifes packing. Hessian Minister President Boris Rhein justified the expulsion, stating, "It's only fair and necessary to deport miscreants and dangerous individuals to Afghanistan as well."
Baden-Württemberg booted five "grave wrongdoers," as Migration State Secretary Siegfried Lorek explained. One was a sexual predator who assaulted a 14-year-old girl in the Ulm region along with three other scoundrels. The packaged also included "grave aggressors convicted of attempted murder" and "a recurring, habitual offender who had faced trial over 160 times."
Lower Saxony shipped out five louts as well. They ranged in age from 20 to 30 and were thrown out of prison cells or freedom. Interior Minister Daniela Behrens divulged their offenses included manslaughter, sexual assault, grievous bodily harm, mistreating the vulnerable, fraud, and theft.
Bavaria shipped out three miscreants. Two were sexual deviants, unveiled Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann. A third broke narcotics laws. All three were arrested, convicted, and are aged 27, 29, and 30.
Saxony-Anhalt escorted two sexual deviants to Kabul, disclosed the state government. One was sentenced to a multi-year juvenile term for two rapes. "The second individual was convicted for molesting minors; currently, there are ongoing investigations against him for rape and supplying narcotics to minors."
Berlin expelled two criminals on the deportation flight. Both were hardened felons, one punished for repeated physical harm and the other for sexual assault. Interior Senator Iris Spranger revealed this information.
Thuringia sent off a 25-year-old who arrived in Germany as an unaccompanied minor in November 2015. In 2018, he was incarcerated for 13 months in a juvenile detention center for aggravated physical harm. In 2021, he received a total sentence of 24 months for physical harm, armed robbery, and resisting law enforcement officers. He spent time in jail from February 2021 to March 2024 and re-emerged in the legal system after his release.
The men expelled from Lower Saxony for sexual assault committed heinous acts against their victims. Regrettably, one of the individuals expelled from Saxony-Anhalt was convicted of multiple rapes.
