It appears that some individuals of Afghan descent, residing in various German cities, are actively promoting extreme forms of Islam through their online presence. Platforms like TikTok and Telegram serve as their digital battleground, where they share content that showcases their radical beliefs. Dressed in Afghan army garb or traditional clothing, they brandish weapons and conduct themselves in a militaristic manner. Their videos frequently feature Taliban slogans and jihad song lyrics.

These individuals claim they moved to Germany for economic reasons but profess support for the Taliban, deeming them the "best government" and the country's safety at an all-time high. Their ultimate goal is to propagate Islam in Germany and Europe, expressing their eagerness for Sharia law to take hold.

Extremism expert Ahmad Mansour believes this isn't an isolated phenomenon, as numerous migrants with incompatible values that conflict with German society's fundamental principles have settled in the country. The majority of them are men with a narrow understanding of Islam similar to Taliban ideals.

German authorities are currently grappling with this issue, as a significant portion of the migrants originate from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds and lack technical skills. Heiko Teggatz, the Federal Police Union's chairman, has expressed concerns about losing control at Germany's borders.

CDU General Secretary Carsten Linnemann has criticized Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser for downplaying the issue, especially following the scrapping of the expert committee on Political Islam.

The online threat posed by these radical individuals remains a major concern, as their digital death threats and Taliban-supporting posts continue to survive on platforms like TikTok for weeks after investigations have begun. The government must address this issue head-on, particularly in light of recent extremist attacks in Germany.
