Busted: Man accused of framing migrant for Trump assassination plot

By Eugen Epp

Allegedly, a conspiracy to sabotage Trump's position has been covertly discussed by an individual. - Individual reportedly expressed support for a migrant's supposed plot to murder President Trump.

In a surprising twist, the Department of Homeland Security had to retract a statement implicating a migrant in a Trump assassination plot. Instead, they've arrested a 52-year-old man named Demetric D. Scott from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for allegedly framing the migrant to achieve his deportation.

Two weeks ago, the ministry arrested an undocumented immigrant, Ramón Morales Reyes, and accused him of threatening to kill Donald Trump. The White House released a threatening letter and a photo of the suspect. However, upon further investigation, it was clear that Morales R. could barely speak or write English, and his handwriting did not match that in the letters. During interrogation, he named Demetric Scott as the one who might want to harm him.

Scott, who is currently awaiting trial for armed robbery and aggravated battery, admitted to orchestrating the scheme. He sent threatening letters purportedly penned by Morales R., with the aim of ensuring the migrant's deportation and preventing him from testifying against him in court. This malicious act earned him additional charges of identity theft, witness intimidation, and bail jumping.

Trump Targeted in Another Assassination Attempt

Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt last year. During a campaign event in Pennsylvania, a bullet grazed his ear, and another attempt was made on his golf course. These incidents underscore the severe nature authorities treat threats against the president.

In this instance, the threat seemed to be solely intended to harm Morales Reyes. The letters Demetric Scott sent included graphic descriptions of violence, with one mentioning, "Would you like it if I blew up the White House with a bomb while our esteemed president is inside?" Another letter threatened to shoot Trump during a speech and referenced the 9/11 attacks.

Migrant at Risk of Deportation

Despite being a victim in this case, Morales R. still faces the risk of deportation. As he awaits the outcome of his U visa application, his future remains uncertain.
