The enemy launched a fierce aerial strike on our humble oblast. Unfortunately, preliminary reports suggest that one civilian has sustained injuries." Koval added that the air defense forces took out "several enemy targets."

The attack on Rivne Oblast is part of a larger pattern of Russian aggression that began on the evening of June 8 and continued through the night of 8-9, with a barrage of strike drones and missiles pounding Ukrainian oblasts[1][2]. Notably, the Ukraine Air Force reported that multiple groups of Shahed drones buzzed Rivne Oblast[1].
