"India's electoral system, according to Rahul Gandhi, is fraudulent, as he repeatedly asserts the forthcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be fixed. He alleges that he possesses evidence to support his assertion."

In a bold move, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has accused the Election Commission of India (ECI) of malpractices in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, claiming that the institution has failed to prevent electoral fraud.

Addressing the annual legal conclave titled 'Constitutional Challenges - Perspectives & Pathways' in the national capital, Gandhi alleged that a large number of fake voters were included in the electoral rolls, enabling the ruling BJP to secure a majority. He specifically asserted that in one Lok Sabha constituency, out of 6.5 lakh voters, 1.5 lakh were fake.

Gandhi contended that this voter list manipulation was instrumental in enabling the BJP to win up to 15-20 additional seats, stating that if the BJP had won fewer seats, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would not have been able to form the government. He also suggested that up to 70-100 seats were affected by rigging in the 2024 election.

The Congress party claims to have documentary evidence supporting these claims and plans to present it publicly, including at a major rally in Bengaluru focused on highlighting election irregularities nationwide. The party's strategy includes publicizing alleged fake voters and irregularities in specific constituencies such as Mahadevapura and Rajajinagar.

However, the Election Commission has refuted these allegations, calling them misleading and noting that electoral rolls are shared with all parties before elections, with opportunities to raise objections. The ECI also mentioned that very few appeals were filed by the Congress regarding voters' lists in 2024.

Gandhi's investigation into electoral malpractices started after the Congress Party's defeat in Maharashtra, where one crore new voters appeared within months ahead of the assembly elections, voting predominantly for the BJP. The Congress leader claims to have proof of electoral malpractices in Maharashtra that will be presented with no doubt.

The Congress leader also alleged that three formidable parties in Maharashtra suddenly evaporated, found it surprising that the Congress Party didn't get a single seat in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, or Gujarat in assembly elections, and asserted that the Prime Minister of India holds office with a very slim majority due to election rigging.

Gandhi further claimed that the institution that defends the constitution has been obliterated and taken over. He warned that a Lok Sabha election will be shown to be stolen with zero doubt and that the Congress Party won the Lok Sabha elections but was obliterated four months later.

These allegations focus on large-scale inclusion of bogus voters and question the independence and efficacy of the ECI, linking these issues directly to the BJP's electoral success in 2024. The Congress's claims remain to be substantiated, and the ECI has yet to respond to these allegations in full.

In the sphere of politics and general news, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accuses the Election Commission of India (ECI) of permitting electoral fraud that benefited the ruling BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, an allegation that stirs questions about policy-and-legislation concerning war-and-conflicts. The Congress Party plans to present evidence of this manipulation at a public rally, raising concerns about the integrity of future elections and the independence of the ECI.
