Indiana woman accused of feeding chicken bones to injured dog in cruelty case
A woman in Indiana, Palina Williams, is facing serious charges after allegedly abandoning a severely injured dog, named Denali. Williams stands accused of animal cruelty and invasion of privacy following the discovery of the dog on Valley Road in Green Township. The dog was found by a passerby, suffering from two pelvis fractures and multiple chicken bones in its stomach. A veterinarian confirmed the injuries, which included being hit by a vehicle. Investigators believe Williams intentionally fed Denali chicken bones, attempting to harm or kill the animal.
Williams is also alleged to have pressured another person to carry out the act. Additionally, she is accused of sharing nude photographs of an acquaintance to stop them from cooperating with authorities about the case.
Denali is now recovering under the care of Nicole's Furry Feline Rescue. The rescue group reported that the dog has successfully passed all the chicken bones and is receiving treatment for its injuries.
Williams faces multiple charges, including aggravated cruelty to animals and invasion of privacy. The case remains under investigation as authorities gather further evidence. Denali continues to recover while in the care of the rescue organization.
