Indian military forces successfully bombarded and damaged the Muridke headquarters linked to LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba) during Operation Sindoor.
In a significant move, the Indian Armed Forces carried out precision strikes on terror infrastructures in Pakistan and the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) as part of Operation Sindoor. The operation, launched days after the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, targeted terror outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and Hizbul Mujahideen.
India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi referred to the operation while speaking at a rally in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, stating that Indian soldiers had brought Pakistan to its knees in a short span of time.
Meanwhile, a video featuring LeT leader Masood Ilyas Kashmiri went viral, in which he confirmed the death of the family members of LeT head Masood Azhar. The video, recorded amid tight security, was reportedly made in Muridke, where the LeT's old headquarters was destroyed during Operation Sindoor in May.
Kashmiri was heard saying in the video that Azhar's family members were torn apart by the Indian forces in Bahawalpur. However, no specific date was mentioned for the alleged incident in Bahawalpur.
Interestingly, Lashkar-e-Taiba established its new headquarters in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan after its old headquarters in Markaz Taiba was destroyed during Operation Sindoor. According to a purported LeT commander Qaasim, a 'bigger' headquarters of LeT will be rebuilt.
Modi also claimed that Indian soldiers desecrated the vermilion of Indian sisters and daughters during an operation, and carried out Operation Sindoor to demolish terrorists' hideouts.
The terror camps destroyed in Operation Sindoor were located in Pakistan and PoK. The destruction of the LeT headquarters was confirmed by Qaasim in the viral video. The terror infrastructures reportedly belonged to terror outfits like JeM, LeT, and Hizbul Mujahideen.
The terror attack in Pahalgam took place in the hilly Union Territory that draws hundreds of tourists from across India and the world. The attack, which claimed several lives, has prompted a strong response from the Indian government.
In conclusion, Operation Sindoor marks a significant step in India's fight against terrorism, with the Indian Armed Forces successfully destroying nine terror camps across Pakistan and PoK. The operation serves as a strong message to terror outfits operating in the region and reinforces India's commitment to maintaining peace and security.
