Indian Airports Suspended Until May 10: Comprehensive City-Wise Details Released

In the heat of the India-Pakistan conflict, airports are feeling the heat too. With tensions running high and missile attacks being reported, it's no wonder some flights have been axed and airports have gone dark for a spell.

Pakistan launched a massive missile and drone assault against Jammu's Satwari, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia, and Rajasthan's Jaisalmer regions, but India's stalwart air defense units managed to intercept and block all incoming threats, saving the day and preventing any significant damage.

On May 7, 2025, Operation Sindoor saw India take aim at 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan and POJK (Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir), a breeding ground for attacks against India. This retaliation was in response to the despicable Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 innocent tourists dead.

Several airports across multiple cities are currently shuttered, including Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, and Amritsar, among others. However, passengers are urged to check with airline and airport authorities for the latest updates on flight schedules and airport status before making any plans.

Despite the chaos, Delhi Airport is holding steady. Some flights have been affected by changing airspace conditions and increased security measures, so travelers are encouraged to verify their flight status with their airlines. The airport has also issued a special travel advisory, urging everyone to rely only on official sources and avoid sharing unverified information. The airport is working closely with all stakeholders to minimize any inconvenience caused.

Several airlines, including Air India, Akasa, Indigo, and Spicejet, have announced that passengers should arrive 3 hours prior to departure as tensions between India and Pakistan continue to rise. Stay tuned for more updates as the situation develops.
