India and Pakistan Prepare for Super Bowl Clash in Dubai
The Asia Cup is set to heat up as India and Pakistan prepare to face off in the Super Four stage in Dubai on Sunday. The match, which promises to be a thrilling encounter, will be officiated by Andy Pycroft, who has been appointed as the match referee.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had demanded Pycroft's immediate removal following India's victory over Pakistan on September 14, after allegations surfaced that Pycroft had asked captains not to shake hands during the toss of the group stage encounter. However, the International Cricket Council did not entertain the PCB's plea, and Pycroft will remain as the match referee.
Meanwhile, both teams are gearing up for the highly anticipated Super Bowl fixture. India, who defeated Oman in their last group stage match, securing a 21-run victory, will have an optional practice session before the Super Four fixture, while Pakistan will have a full training session at the ICC Academy.

The Indian squad for the Asia Cup consists of Yadav (captain), Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Jitesh Sharma, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakaravarthy, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Sanju Samson, Harshit Rana, Rinku Singh.
Off-field drama continued into Pakistan's match against the UAE, causing a delay and forcing the Pakistani players to stay at the hotel. The Pakistani squad for the Asia Cup consists of Salman Ali Agha (captain), Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Hasan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Waseem Jnr, Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Salman Mirza, Shaheen Afridi, Sufyan Moqim.
