In a significant stride towards providing better living conditions for its residents, the Sverdlovsk region has been actively working on housing projects this year.

More than 800 apartments have already been made available under rental agreements, offering shelter for over 800 people. This is just the beginning, as the region plans to build another 500 apartments by the end of the year.

Denis Pasler, the head of the Sverdlovsk region, announced in 2023 that housing construction for orphans is planned to be completed by 2025. This ambitious project, aimed at benefiting over 1,500 people, is part of the federal project 'Decade of Childhood.'

The increased funding for these housing initiatives will not only provide apartments but also housing subsidies for 1,270 people under rental agreements. An additional 1.5 billion rubles has been allocated for this purpose, with an additional 200 million rubles directed towards social support measures, including housing repairs and exemption from utility payments.

The project of the Culture House in Kamennoozersky may serve as a prototype for creating similar objects in the region, furthering the region's commitment to improving living spaces.

By setting this pace, the region aims to eliminate the accumulated debt in providing housing for orphans by 2030. This goal is in line with the national project 'Infrastructure for Life,' which emphasises the importance of housing as the foundation of a stable future and independent life.

In 2025, 1,679 Ural residents will receive ready-made apartments or housing subsidies. The regional budget will allocate 4.3 billion rubles for the purchase and construction of apartments for the state specialized housing fund in 2025.

The housing of orphans in the Sverdlovsk region is not just a project; it is a commitment to a brighter future for all its residents. With increased funding and a steadfast determination, the region is making significant strides towards ensuring a stable and secure living environment for its most vulnerable citizens.
