Brace yourselves, leisure enthusiasts of Leinefelde-Worbis! Changes are coming to the Leinefelder Leinebad, as the Sports and Leisure Leinefelde-Worbis GmbH has announced a price adjustment for admission tickets and the money card system. René Weißbach, the town's spokesperson, shares the news.
New rates take effect from July 1st. Pricing fluctuations are necessitated by rising operating and energy costs, as well as ongoing investments, such as the renovation of the slide tower and the south facade.
People visiting the swimming area can expect an increase in prices for single and multiple entries by 50 cents each. Combination rates for the swimming pool and sauna will rise by one euro. From now on, the adult rate will apply from the age of 14. These measures, as Weißbach explained, will secure the economic stability of the baths and ensure they can continue to offer a diverse range of leisure and health facilities in the future.
The revised money card system will eliminate the 150-euro card, while a 100-euro card will be issued at a 10-euro discount (previously 12.50 euros). Discounts are exclusively applied to admission prices, making the system more transparent and attractive for regular customers, according to Weißbach. Despite the increases, the Leinebad is expected to maintain its competitive edge in the region.
Families stand to particularly benefit from these changes, as children will continue to pay the most affordable rate compared to other nearby baths. The Leinebad also positions itself as a reasonably priced option within the region's sauna area.
