In the aftermath of the Ukrainian drone attack on an oil depot near Sochi on August 3, 2025, which resulted in a fire and emergency responses, the city and its residents are receiving assistance and compensation.

The "Do Good Foundation" is one of the organisations providing aid, having received donations from city employees, deputies, and local residents. However, further details about the foundation's specific role in the relief efforts or the application process for victims of the attack are not currently available.

Federal funds have been allocated to help those affected, according to the decrees of the Russian government and the governor of the Krasnodar Territory. The payments are on a voluntary basis and are designed to provide support to those in need.

For families of the deceased, federal payments amount to 1.5 million rubles. Those with severe and moderate injuries will receive 600,000 rubles, while those with minor injuries will receive 50,000 rubles. Those with serious injuries will receive 200,000 rubles.

The first transfers have already been made to those who have applied, and the authorities of Sochi are also helping residents in obtaining these federal compensations. Applications for assistance can be submitted at the Administration of the Adler District, located at 53, Kirova Street, room 26 (Monday to Wednesday from 10:00 to 13:00).

By order of the city's head, Andrei Proshunin, families of the deceased will receive an additional 500,000 rubles.
