Delay in Bayern Munich's group due to wrathful thunderstorm - Inclement weather hits Bavaria-Tross region
A thunderstorm over Orlando has caused a headache for FC Bayern Munich, prolonging their journey to the Club World Cup. Their chartered flight, carrying the German football legends, touched down in Fort Lauderdale over two hours behind schedule on Saturday evening.
As Austrian international player Konrad Laimer put it: "We had a later dinner and then hit the sack." Fellow national player Jonathan Tah maintained his calm, expressing, "It'd be nicer if everything ran smoothly."
Despite the travel woes, Bayern's ambition against Flamengo remains undeterred. Coach Vincent Kompany stated, "Our focus is solely on what we need to do to emerge victorious."
