In the town of 'Couraíso', the music scene is revitalizing as Vodafone prepares its latest plan. Here's what you should catch up on regarding another venture by Vodafone.

The Vodafone Paredes de Coura festival, set to take place from 13th to 16th August 2025 in Alto Minho, Portugal, promises an exciting lineup of music and entertainment. Here's a rundown of the ticket prices, performers, and festival rules.

Ticket Prices

  • Full festival pass (Passe Geral): €130
  • Daily ticket: €60

Children up to 11 years old can enter for free when accompanied by their parents or guardians. Children aged 12 to 15 need a paid ticket and must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets can be purchased online through authorized sellers such as Fnac Bilheteira or platforms like DICE. On Fnac Bilheteira, you can buy the Passe Geral or daily tickets, and there is the option to add ticket insurance for €1.5 per ticket for refunds up to €120.

Performances

The festival is divided into the Vodafone Stage and the BacanaPlay Stage, with gates opening at 4:00 PM. Notable acts include Vampire Weekend, Franz Ferdinand, Air, Black Country, New Road, and Sharon Van Etten.

On the 16th of August, you can catch performances by:

  • Ana Frango Elétrico on the Vodafone Stage at 17:10
  • Hinds on the BacanaPlay Stage at 19:55
  • Lander & Adriaan on the BacanaPlay Stage at 00:00
  • Sharon Van Etten & the Attachment Theory on the Vodafone Stage at 20:40
  • Air on the Vodafone Stage at 22:45
  • DIIV on the Vodafone Stage at 18:55
  • Warmduscher on the BacanaPlay Stage at 21:45
  • Franz Ferdinand on the Vodafone Stage at 1:00 AM

The BacanaPlay Stage does not have a scheduled act for the 15th of August. Other performers include Chastity Belt, Gurriers, and Xinobi live, but their specific times are yet to be announced.

Rules and Prohibitions

For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, certain items are prohibited at the festival. These include glass bottles, cans, sprays, laser pointers, helmets, large suitcases, bags, or backpacks, umbrellas, chairs, professional photography and video equipment, drones, any type of weapon or dangerous objects, xenophobic messages and calls to violence, and any type of food items.

Free shuttles will be available between the campsite, the venue entrance, and the village from August 13 to 16. It's important to note that Paredes de Coura does not have a railway station, and the nearest stop is in Valença do Minho, about 25 kilometers away.

Rede Expressos offers bus connections from various parts of the country with a 10% discount for those who buy tickets between August 9 and 18, using the code VPC2025.

Additionally, the Sobe à Vila event, featuring Portuguese music, will take place from 10 to 14 August.

The after-party on 17 August, starting at 4:30 AM, will feature Terzi B2B Mestizana, Vivax, Jota, and Líquen.

The campsite area will open on 9 August and close on 17 August. Festival tickets must be exchanged for a wristband at the festival's box offices between specified dates and times.
