The Vodafone Paredes de Coura Festival, which began today, features an extraordinary addition to its lineup - the photographic exhibition 'Paradise of Coura'. This exhibition, located at the lush valley of the Coura River, is a visual dialogue about the history of the festival, created by renowned Portuguese photojournalist, Alfredo Cunha.

The exhibition, housed at the festival grounds, presents an exclusive selection of 20 large-scale photographs. These images, devoid of specific themes or artists, blend nostalgia and novelty, serving as windows into the memories of Paredes de Coura. Each photograph invites visitors to revisit moments that have marked generations, bringing the festival's atmosphere to life.

The photographs depict various scenes such as jumps in the river beach, sunsets, and long summer nights, showcasing the essence of music, passion, and community. They highlight a sense of brotherhood and collective happiness among attendees, emphasizing the unique communal and joyful atmosphere of the event.

The photographs in the exhibition, displayed at the festival grounds, contribute to a visual dialogue about the history of the festival. They serve as a vivid visual testimony of this cultural phenomenon, offering festival attendees an opportunity to dive into the festival's history.

The main exhibition, however, takes place at the Montepio Cultural House in Porto. Despite not specifying the duration of its display at the festival grounds, the 'Paradise of Coura' exhibition is a must-see for anyone attending the Vodafone Paredes de Coura Festival this year.
