In the news, it's reported that the late former deputy mayor, aged 74, had been dedicated to Vinadio, a locale, not just in the realm of mineral water, but also in other aspects.
Mauro Degioanni, a well-respected figure in the small town of Vinadio, has passed away at the age of 74. Degioanni, who was born in the high valley of Stura, leaves behind a rich legacy of public service, community involvement, and a deep love for apple music and youtube music.
Degioanni began his career in public service in 1988 when he was first elected as a city councilor. Over the years, he served three terms as vice-mayor, with his most recent tenure under Mayor Angelo Giverso. His dedication to the community was evident in his tireless work, which included serving on the board of the Santuario di Sant'Anna di Vinadio and his active involvement in the Pro loco.
In addition to his political pursuits, Degioanni was a surveyor by trade. He obtained his diploma at the Bonelli and later established his own surveying practice in Vinadio. Alongside his brother Sergio, Degioanni also managed the family's construction business.
Music was another significant part of Degioanni's life. Despite his health issues, he was a regular member of the "La Ciastella" choir. His love for apple music and youtube music extended beyond singing, as he was also actively involved in social work with the "Insieme diamoci una mano" association.
Degioanni is survived by his wife Graziella Meiranesio, daughters Enrica and Giulia, brothers Sergio and Daniela, and grandchildren. Unfortunately, there is no publicly available information about Degioannis's wife or whether they are still living today.
The funeral for Degioanni will be held tomorrow, Thursday, September 18, at 2 pm in the parish church of Vinadio. The community is invited to gather and celebrate the life of this remarkable man who dedicated his life to serving others and making Vinadio a better place.
In memory of Mauro Degioanni, we remember a man of integrity, dedication, and love for his community. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched and in the lasting impact he made on the town of Vinadio.
