In the fourth stage of the Tour de France Femmes, Lorena Wiebes triumphs in a sprint finish, with Marianne Vos hot on her heels.

After four stages of the 2025 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, the competition remains intense. Marianne Vos (Visma | Lease a Bike) holds the yellow jersey, leading Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx-Protime) by 12 seconds. The flattest stage of the tour, with only one categorised climb, provided another opportunity for the sprinters.

In the end, it was Lorena Wiebes who emerged victorious, securing her second win of the tour so far. The stage finished in a bunch sprint in Poitiers, with Wiebes finishing half a bike length ahead of Vos.

The stage began with a breakaway trio, but they were eventually caught by the peloton, which was led by Visma-Lease a Bike and SD Worx-Protime. The Brazilian Movistar rider took the top two points on offer at the Cote de Margny category 4 climb.

As the stage progressed, the peloton picked up speed, with riders clinging on in a cross tailwind. The top 10 in the general classification remained unchanged, with Kim Le Court (AG Insurance-Soudal) in third place, the same time as Wiebes. Pauline Ferrand-Prevot (Visma | Lease a Bike) is fourth, 18 seconds behind Vos, and Kasia Niewiadoma (Canyon-SRAM-zondacrypto) is fifth, 22 seconds back.

In the final sprint, Anna van der Breggen moved to the front, leading Wiebes. Kim Le Court rode in the slipstream of Le Court, preparing for the final sprint. Vos arranged herself on the wheel of Wiebes in anticipation of the intermediate sprint. In the end, it was Wiebes who took the win, with Koch taking the 25 points in the intermediate sprint, and Magalhaes just behind.

This is Lorena Wiebes' fifth total Tour stage win, and her second stage win of the Tour de France Femmes so far. Elise Chabbey (FDJ-Suez) leads the mountains classification, while Julie Bego (Cofidis) wears the white jersey for best young rider. FDJ-Suez leads the team classification.

The competition continues to heat up as the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift heads into its second week. With Vos and Wiebes battling it out for the overall lead, it promises to be an exciting race to watch.
