In the forthcoming events, Thomas has been assigned as the Commissioner for "Tator" in Franconia.
Here's a fresh take on the article:
Munich/Nuremberg - The Franken "Tatort" is stirring things up with the addition of actress Rosalie Thomass to their detective squad. The 37-year-old will be taking on the role of Kriminalhauptkommissarin (Chief Inspector) Emilia Rathgeber, joining forces with Fabian Hinrichs (51) as Kriminalhauptkommissar Felix Voss, according to the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation (BR). With the departure of Dagmar Manzel, Thomass has stepped in to complete the detective team in the popular crime series.
"I can't bloody contain my excitement for this new challenge. I'm about to dive into top-notch filmmaking, and the 'Tatort' Franken represents exceptional quality in my opinion," Thomass shared about her upcoming role. Her debut is set to appear in the 12th "Tatort" episode, with an air date to be confirmed.
A Real-Deal Detective
"Emilia Rathgeber embodies a no-nonsense detective with a heart that beats for justice. She's a ride-or-die ally who brings vitality and passion to the team," commented BR program director Bettina Ricklefs.
Dagmar Manzel, who played the role of Hauptkommissarin Paula Ringelhahn, and Fabian Hinrichs had been working together for a significant amount of time within the Franken "Tatort." Manzel (66) bid her farewell in October 2024[2].
In the upcoming eleventh "Tatort" episode from Franken, titled "I See You," Hinrichs will investigate alone. Eli Wasserscheid as Wanda Goldwasser will lend a hand, as usual[2]. This episode is set to air in the fall.
