In Singapore, Mexican divers clinch four medals, sweeping the podium in the competition.

Mexico's diving team is making a splash at the ongoing World Aquatics Championships in Singapore. With the tournament set to conclude on Aug. 3, the team has already earned several medals, establishing a strong presence in the international diving scene.

In the Mixed Team diving event, Osmar Olvera teamed up with Randal Willars, Zyanya Parra, and Estudillo to claim a silver medal. This achievement marks Mexico's fourth diving medal and fifth overall at the championships. Olvera, a seasoned diver, has seven World Championship medals in total, including one gold, five silver, and one bronze.

Meanwhile, the 14-year-old twins Miá and Liá Cueva are making their mark in the women's synchronized 3-meter springboard event. The sisters, who have already won a silver medal in a previous event, are poised to make a strong impact in this competition.

Parra, a 15-year-old debutante, has also made her mark. She competed in the Mixed Team event and will be Olvera's teammate in the mixed synchronized springboard competition. Parra's silver medal at the World Aquatics Diving World Cup in Guadalajara in April is a testament to her growing prowess.

Olvera's recent success includes a silver medal in the men's 1-meter springboard competition, which he won over the weekend. The diver is aiming to surpass Joaquín Capilla, Mexico's best diver ever, who has four Olympic medals. Capilla, a legendary figure in Mexican diving, won bronze in the 1948 London Olympics, silver in the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, and gold and bronze in the 1956 Melbourne Olympics.

The Mexican diving duo of Gabriela Agúndez and Alejandra Estudillo finished second in the women's 10-meter synchronized platform diving event. Their silver medal adds to Mexico's growing tally of medals at the championships.

Diego Villalobos, an artistic swimmer, secured Mexico's first medal at the World Aquatics Championships on July 20. He won bronze in the men's solo technical event, finishing just 13 points behind Russian gold medalist Aleksandr Maltsev.

As the World Aquatics Championships continue, Mexico's divers are demonstrating their skill and determination. With several medals already in hand, the team is poised to make a strong finish in the remaining events.
