Stephan Zinner, a renowned Bavarian actor, musician, and cabaret artist, has been announced as the replacement for Maximilian Schafroth as the Fastenredner (Lenten preacher) for the Derblecken event at the Nockherberg during the Starkbier (strong beer) season.
Zinner, born in Trostberg, has been a part of the Kammerspiele ensemble and has been doing cabaret since 2000. He is no stranger to the Nockherberg, having portrayed Bavarian Minister President Markus Söder in the Nockherberg Singspiel from 2006 to 2019.
The Derblecken, a long-standing tradition in Munich, is more than just a fasting speech. It's a social gathering, a celebration of Bavarian culture, and an opportunity to enjoy the city's rich history.
