In Omsk region, after 84 years, a soldier was reburied

Celebratory Ceremony Held in Soldier's Homeland

A solemn ceremony was held in Sherbakulsky Region, the native land of the fallen soldier Semen Lukyanov.

According to the press service of the governor and the government of Omsk Region, Semen Lukyanov, a combatant in the 246th Infantry Division, was reburied with military honors in the village of Kutuzovka, his place of birth and upbringing.

Born in 1913 in Kutuzovka, Semen Lukyanov was drafted into the army on July 7, 1941, and by the fall of the same year, he had perished in the Tver region.

The remains and medallion of the soldier were discovered on November 6, 2024.

The mournful gathering for Semen Lukyanov's reburrial was attended by residents of Sherbakulsky Region, as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
