In Moscow, weather predictions are being made for the upcoming weekend
Moscow is set to enjoy a few more days of warm weather, with temperatures predicted to remain above the September norm throughout the beginning of next week.
According to the forecasting centre 'Meteo', headed by Alexander Shuvalov, temperatures in Moscow will rise to 22°C on September 21, following a slightly cooler day on September 20 when temperatures are expected to reach 19-21°C. Overnight temperatures on September 20-21 will not drop below 8-10°C.
However, a cold snap is expected to hit Moscow on September 25, with temperatures predicted to drop sharply to 10°C, as per Alexander Shuvalov's latest predictions. Along with the cold snap, rain is expected in the city, and winds are set to strengthen.
Tatiana Pozdnyakova, the capital's chief meteorologist, shared her forecast with RIA Novosti, but no specific researcher has been identified as having predicted the cold and rainy weather starting on Thursday, September 25.
In more positive news, no significant change in temperatures is expected in Moscow until September 25, and no significant rainfall is expected towards the end of the week. The temperatures in Moscow are expected to remain a couple of degrees above the September norm at the beginning of the following week.
