In Miami's 1v1 World Crown Final, Timmy Abraham, Tammy's brother, will face off against professional player Lionel Messi, while competing against semi-pro female player Che Thomas for a $5,000 cash prize.

In an exciting turn of events, former Fulham youth player Timmy Abraham found himself squaring off against fellow British talent Che in a 1v1 competition, hosted by the Mas+ by Messi tournament. The event, which took place in the UK, saw Timmy, now a football content creator, going head-to-head with Che, who currently represents Derby County in the Women's National League Northern Premier Division, the third tier of women's football.

While Timmy has had spells with Plymouth and Oldham, and most recently Tonbridge Angels in the sixth tier of English Football before leaving last September, Che, aged 22, has been making waves in women's football.

Meanwhile, in the world of men's football, arguably the biggest name in the competition's history is Lionel Messi. The MLS side Inter Miami, managed by Javier Mascherano, will see Messi in action against DC United on Sunday. The Argentine superstar, who considers himself the GOAT (Greatest of All Time), recently helped Inter Miami secure a 3-1 victory over Seattle Sounders in their last league outing, scoring his side's second goal.

Interestingly, Timmy had the opportunity to play in front of Messi during his time at AS Roma in Serie A. Despite the outcome of the 1v1 competition, the experience of going up against such a football legend is undoubtedly a memorable one for Timmy.

As for Che, her journey in women's football continues, with her undoubtedly aiming to make a name for herself in the sport. The competition against Timmy and the presence of Messi in the UK is sure to have provided her with valuable experience and inspiration.

The 1v1 competition between Timmy and Che, although not as high-profile as Messi's games, serves as a testament to the passion and dedication of footballers at all levels, striving to improve and make their mark in the sport.
