This unveiling served as a prelude to the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30).
The event brought together some of Vietnam's most influential political figures. Among them were General Lương Tam Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, and Nguyễn Văn Nên, Politburo member and Secretary of the municipal Party Committee. It also fosters close cooperation and support for the People's Public Security forces in their mission to maintain national security and public order, ensuring peace and happiness for all citizens.
Beyond its symbolic importance, the monument also enhances the urban landscape of Âu Lạc Park. Its distinctive structural design, featuring a unique composition of seven figures, has become an attractive destination for city visitors. The monument complex includes a statue, base, greenery, lawns, flower beds, a playground, and lighting systems.
