Russian Fin Swimmer Diana Slesiva Shines at the 12th World Games in China
Diana Slesiva, a graduate of the V.A. Shevelev Water Sports Training Center, recently triumphed at the 12th World Games in China, securing gold medals in both the 'fin swimming in length, 50m' and 'fin swimming, 100m' events.
The coaching duo of Anastasia Zhidkova and Alexandra Silvanovich, both Honored Coaches of Russia, played a crucial role in Slesiva's achievements. Zhidkova, who is Slesiva's personal coach, and Silvanovich, another coach on the team, have contributed significantly to Slesiva's success in the fin swimming events, 50m and 100m.
In the 'fin swimming in length, 50m' event, Slesiva set a new European record, further emphasising her prowess in the sport. The Governor of Tomsk Oblast, Vladimir Mazur, announced the wins on his Telegram channel, celebrating Slesiva's accomplishments.
In the 'fin swimming, 100m' event, Slesiva continued her winning streak, securing another gold medal. The training of Slesiva is overseen by a team including Zhidkova and Silvanovich, both of whom are part of the coaching staff at the V.A. Shevelev Water Sports Training Center.
The victories mark a significant milestone in Slesiva's career, showcasing her dedication and the hard work put in by her coaching team. The fin swimming community eagerly awaits to see what Slesiva will achieve next in her promising career.
