In a twist of events, Bayern Munich has conceded the league championship race.

As the Bundesliga season reaches its final stretch, the race for the championship is heating up. Bayern Munich, currently unbeaten in their 27th consecutive game against Bremen, secured a 1-2 victory in their latest match. Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sané scored for Bayern, increasing the pressure on Borussia Dortmund in the title race, as Bayern now lead Dortmund by four points.

Meanwhile, RB Leipzig are back on track and third in the table after securing a 1-0 away win against SC Freiburg, thanks to a goal by Kevin Kampl in the 73rd minute. Qualifying for the Champions League remains Leipzig's top priority.

The game between FC Augsburg and 1. FC Union Berlin was a rough one, with frequent fouls and interruptions. Dion Beljo scored the winning goal for Augsburg in the 53rd minute, securing their 1-0 victory and ensuring another consecutive year in the Bundesliga for Augsburg, making it 13 years in a row. Union Berlin, however, remain in fourth place despite their loss.

Elsewhere, Davie Selke scored two goals for 1. FC Köln in the match against Bayer Leverkusen, securing his first brace in over five years. Köln ended Leverkusen's 14-game unbeaten run in all competitions with a 2-1 win.

In other results, Hertha BSC secured a 2-1 win against VfB Stuttgart, thanks to Florian Niederlechner's first goal for the club. With the win, FC Schalke 04 temporarily climbed to 14th place in the table, but later dropped down to 15th place due to Hoffenheim's win against Frankfurt. Marius Bülter scored a winning penalty in the 12th minute of extra time for Schalke in their match against FSV Mainz 05, securing a 3-2 win for Schalke.

The relegation battle took an interesting turn with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim securing a crucial win over Eintracht Frankfurt, with a 3-1 victory. However, Hoffenheim have now gone 10 league games without a win and must likely forget about the international ranks.

Finally, Mario Götze scored the only goal for Eintracht Frankfurt in the match, but it was not enough to secure a win against Bayern. Bayern's last win against Munich was in October 2006.
