"Immediate Action Necessary": Lim Guan Eng Urges Home Ministry Regarding Akmal Saleh and the Contentious Flag Matter
In an exciting development, Vinpearl, Vietnam's leading tourism and resort brand, has formed a strategic collaboration with three South Korean tourism giants - Hanatour, Marketing Highlands, and HKG Co., Ltd. The aim is to significantly increase tourism from South Korea to Vietnam, leveraging the partners' extensive networks and marketing capabilities.
The partnership, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the Vietnam–South Korea Business Forum in August 2025, focuses on intensifying promotional activities, expanding distribution channels, and ensuring a steady flow of South Korean tourists to Vietnam. The goal is to attract five million South Korean visitors by 2025 and solidify Vietnam’s status as a preferred destination for South Korean travelers.
Vinpearl, with its broad portfolio of 57 properties including five-star hotels, resorts, amusement parks, and golf courses, offers attractively diverse tourism products. Hanatour, the largest travel company in South Korea with a dominant market share and an expansive retail network of over 7,500 agencies, brings unmatched market reach and customer insight to the partnership.
Marketing Highlands, a regional marketing and sales service provider with a network of over 1,200 travel agencies in multiple countries, offers expertise in sales, trade promotion, and management, facilitating broad visibility of Vietnam tourism products. HKG Co., Ltd., specialising in upscale golf tourism, managing memberships and partnerships with 15 golf courses across Asia, significantly appeals to niche luxury tourists, complementing Vinpearl's golf facilities.
Together, these companies will coordinate marketing campaigns, enhance travel product distribution in South Korea, and promote Vietnam’s tourism attractions. This collaboration aligns with the broader objective of deepening Vietnam-South Korea tourism ties and economic cooperation. The partnership exploits South Korea’s large and growing outbound tourism market, positioning Vietnam as a top choice for leisure and golf travelers alike.
Vinpearl, founded in 2001, is confident about leveraging its exceptional infrastructure and services. Mrs. Ngo Thi Huong, the Deputy CEO of Sales and Marketing at Vinpearl, expressed her excitement about the partnership, stating, "We believe this collaboration will bring immense benefits to both Vietnam and South Korea, fostering a stronger tourism industry and boosting economic growth."
