Still, once you take a gander at that black-and-white hoodie, the mysterious striped bandana obscuring the lower half of her lovely face, the protective knee and elbow pads, and the whole ensemble, it's easy to see why one might conclude that Angela indeed plans to avenge her uncle Hector's targeted murder by donning his crime-fighting identity. Alternatively, she might have joined the Hell's Kitchen White Tigers roller derby team, but that seems less probable.

Angela's White Tiger Ambitions Foreshadowed in Season 1 Finale

Initially introduced in Episode 4, Camila Rodriguez's Angela Del Toro made it abundantly clear that she felt PISSED about Hector's murder and took it upon herself to pursue justice relentlessly, even when Matt was less enthusiastic[1][2]. The same tenacity surfaced whenever she attempted to funnel crucial info to Matt concerning the recent abductions.

In the sixth episode, things came to a head when Angela courageously ventured into Muse's lair, only to be capture, terrorized, and interrogated ... until our hero, Daredevil, swooped in to save the day[1][2]. But don't think this encounter left Angela dissuaded from her dreams of justice.

As the show drew to a close, viewers saw Angela checking out a lineup of armored policemen, and her expression betrayed a steely determination that convinced many that Angela would indeed take the White Tiger baton in Season 2[1].

Of course, the speculation about Angela stepping into the White Tiger shoes already existed due to her assuming the role in the comics. So perhaps it would've been more intriguing had Daredevil: Born Again chosen to veer from that particular comic book tradition.
