Ilya Shmukler, the highly acclaimed pianist and winner of the prestigious Concours Geza Anda Piano Competition, will be gracing the stage in Kansas City on October 5, 2024. The concert will take place at the 1900 Building in Mission Woods, Kan., starting at 7:30 p.m.

### Ilya Shmukler's Background and Recent Achievements

Shmukler has been studying under Stanislav Ioudenitch at Park University International Center for Music since 2019. He earned a graduate certificate in music performance in 2021 and a graduate artist's diploma in music performance in 2023 from Park University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in performance from Park.

In addition to his win at the Concours Geza Anda Piano Competition, Shmukler has also made a name for himself in the world of classical music. In 2017, he advanced to the quarterfinal round of the Cliburn, and in 2022, he was one of six finalists and earned an additional prize for "Best Performance of a Mozart Concerto."
