ILLIT Marks Two Years of K-Pop Stardom with New EP Mamihlapinatapai on the Horizon

K-pop group ILLIT has just celebrated its second anniversary since debuting with five members: Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha. The milestone comes as the group prepares to release its fourth EP, Mamihlapinatapai, later this month. ILLIT first appeared on the music scene two years ago, quickly gaining traction with three consecutive albums on the Billboard 200. Their title track Not Cute Anymore also reached No. 7 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.

Last year, the group sold out all eight Glitter Day concerts across Korea and Japan. Now, they have kicked off their Press Start tour with two sold-out shows in Seoul. After the performance, Iroha thanked the staff and fellow members for making the event a success.

Looking ahead, Minju shared the group's ambition to perform in more countries and explore new musical styles. Yunah also reflected on their progress as they near the release of Mamihlapinatapai, set for April 30. With a growing global presence and a new EP on the way, ILLIT continues to build momentum. The group's consistent chart success and sold-out tours highlight its rising influence in K-pop. Fans can expect more performances as the Press Start tour unfolds.
