IIHF World Championship Moves to Krefeld as Germany Defends Title Against Britain

The IIHF World Championship venue has been shifted from Lord Roberts Centre in Bisley, England, to Krefeld due to hall closure. Germany will commence their campaign against Britain at 11:45 AM on Friday, with live streaming available at www.iishf.com.

The change in venue posed challenges, but Krefeld offered the necessary facilities. The German team, led by newly appointed coach Julian Nagelsmann, is eager to defend their title. Tim-Niklas Wolff and Moritz Otten joined the squad but missed preparatory training sessions. Germany vs. Switzerland is anticipated as the main sports-wise duel, with Germany aiming for their fourth title. Austria and Britain may face tough competition, while Denmark's role is expected to be less significant. In the future, Lord Roberts Centre will only host shooting events and weddings.
