IHCL to Launch First Vivanta Hotel In Vellore In Partnership With BBK Group
A new Vivanta hotel is set to open in Vellore, marking the first of its kind in the city. Developed by Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) in partnership with BBK Group, the property aims to boost the area’s hospitality sector. The exact launch date remains unconfirmed, but plans are well underway for the 100-room hotel.
The project is a greenfield venture between IHCL and BBK Group, a family-run business known for its work in leather, footwear, and leather goods. Baskaran, a key promoter of BBK Group, has expressed satisfaction with the collaboration, highlighting the opportunity to bring the Vivanta brand to Vellore.
The hotel will occupy a prime location in Vellore’s expanding education and industrial district. Its design will feature modern aesthetics, complete with all-day dining, several meeting rooms, and a spacious 2,500 sq ft banquet hall. The development is expected to strengthen the city’s position as a key destination for business and leisure travellers.
The Vivanta Vellore will add 100 rooms to the city’s hospitality offerings. Its facilities, including dining and event spaces, are designed to cater to both corporate and social gatherings. The partnership between IHCL and BBK Group signals a new phase for Vellore’s growing hotel industry.
