Crime and Accountability
In an effort to maintain law and order, Maxim Zhuk, the Moscow Prosecutor, has been leading an Interagency Working Group on Combating Violations in National Project Implementation. This comes in response to over 1,700 legal infringements recorded in Moscow since the start of the year.
In the same vein, prosecutors have initiated six criminal cases to address these violations. Over a thousand people have been held accountable for disciplinary violations, and 91 individuals have received administrative penalties.
